I bought a 2g it has many mods but one I can't figure out (and need to) is the headlights the bottom reads [sonar sk3301-ecps95 hrip 95 sae hi vol] if anyone knows the company or has the same headlights I need help because the led's for the halo went out on the passenger side and I need to know if I can take it apart to replace the led's or if I'm sol and have to replace the whole unit. Thanks.

well headlights are headlights so do like the other 1000 ppl on here and bake them take them apart and replace the bulb...why would you think you wouldnt be able to take them apart???

Are you sure it's the LEDs, and not just the wiring? Takes a long-ass time for an LED to burn out. :b

Actually it's pretty well documented that these style projectors have early LEDs failures all the time. I had one bad out of the box even though it was designed to run at a safe 20mA. Yes, they should last a long time even with the heat from the headlights inside the housing.
I've been contacted a lot about how to replace them since I posted my pics so I know it's common.
