I bought a K&N FIPK, and i was soooo pissed when i found out that it didn't come with a new hose  . all it came with has the damn filter, and some brackets. A waste of $160  if i must say so. But anyways, has anyone ever made or had someone make a intake tube from metal? a metal one would be so sweet, like the ones on the turbo cars coming from the IC, if it just went straight to the MAS that would be sweet. If so, how, where can i buy, and how much.

if i were your you i would send that one back and order an injen intake for it. it goes for about $200 but it is a hell of alot nicer

you can make your own intake tube. an idea i had was metal roofing aluminum. roll it and bnd it and cut it and whatever and tack weld it together and put the welded side down and polish it with a polishing cloth and there you go.
