after connecting all the wires to the amp it does not function. the power led does not light on.
 
Check your ground, and your remote wire! If one of thses is not properly secured or hooked up, your amp will not get power!

Check the ground. Make sure you grounded to something on the chasis that is metal, and you sanded the paint down to shiny silver.

Check your remote wire, usually blue, and make sure the wire is connected to the right wire from your headunit.

Check your power wire, make sure it is fused shorter than 18" from the battery. Check the fuse too.

Make sure your headunit is on, your amp will not go on unless there is sound playing.

If all that fails, the amp is blown.

If its new, return it, if its used, you got jipped.
