i have a vdo egt gauge and it doesnt read fastenough, during a fullthrottle run it barely goes up and stays around 950* F while cruising. should i go for a tre probe or is the vdo gauge itself crap?

The EGT probe that we are selling is about the fastest EGT probe on the market that you will find that will last for a long time. It's response time really wakes up any EGT gauge and it'll actually show 200-300*F drop in temps between shifts.

Agreed 100% I bought one 3 years ago for my autometer probe and the difference in speed was astounding. Even my friend with an HKS guage was impressed at the speed it responded with.

Looks like I just found something else to buy for my DSM... I was a little disappointed in the speed of my autometer gauge.
