new hood?

ok im sure this has already come up in another forum but i didnt know how to search it. im trying to make a new custom hood for my 2g. im going to buy another hood just incase i mess the project one up. my question is, will a 96 hood fit my 97? i thought the headlights were different and thats the reason i thought the hoods were diff.

The hoods are the same, its the headlight assembly that makes the two headlights different..the 95-96s are bigger on the backside.
