but there not jdm nissan skyline r34 taillights.ive seen a lot of altezzas but nobody with jdm skyline taillights on a dsm.i think it would be a unique conversion, and i think it would look sharp.

Damn... .....i never understood why people go through a lot of time and $$$$ to make their car look like a differrent car, and as far as altezzas go.....:barf: .....:barf: ..... .....but i guess we all got our own idea of wat a nice car is....:thumb:

:dsm: One reason why people go through a lot to make their car look different is because some people like to be original. Like colored hair, tatoos, body piercing, different music tastes etc.

:dsm: Another reason N/A guys like their cars to look different especially once you learn N/A DSM cars can only be so fast. So you start getting into other ways to modify your car like colors, wings, bodykits, Altezza Taillights etc. Why make a 135HP just look strict racer when it is not Turbo fast anyway..........thus body mods, taillights etc. start to look more appealing as a way to differentiate yourself from the crowd. It is not that hard to understand really just a matter of opinion.

na90DSM go ahead and do the taillight conversion if you can. I commend you for going for it. I would love to see it if you can do it. Uniqueness costs. Just Do it

i gonna see how much then go from there. ill keep ya posted

i feel you on being original, but for around the same $$$$ it takes people to do sum conversions i just bought a 1G tsi,.... so not being fast enough is their choice....;)

I don't know, i may sound corny but I fall in love with the car/s i get and work on it from there, i'm lucky i got a tsi from the start, I want lots of power and i want my car to look different as well, my wallet can only take me so far. the free mods, and bought a boost controler. I think some altezzas look nice and i think some are just gross nice one are more$, i'm going to jump back and forth on my car looks/power, when you first look at a car what do you see? I see body, rims, windows and lights. so i'll do what ever my wallet supports.

dont get me wrong, my car looks like #@%#@%#@%#@%. i jus did the body werk like patching hole from the nasty stock wing and some dings and dents,so the whole car right now is primer grey.its funny people think its slow.im gonna get it goin as fast as i can fist making it look nice along the way.i coulda had the tsi and still can.i love challenges and i wanna see how far i can take the n/a 2.0L .

I see what you are saying about speed AkaDemik on it is not that hard to be fast with buying a turbo DSM car. I should have bought a AWD or FWD turbo and I know it. I bought mine off of a buy here/pay here lot and nickeled and dimed the payment until it was paid off. I couldn't find an Turbo 92 at the time to save my life that wasn't at least $4,500. My car cost $2,500 and I didn't pay that all at once. I paid $1,500 down and the rest in increment/payments. My point is that I should have waited and been saving my money so I could have won a nice condition turbo on Ebay Motors. I check there frequently and see all the good deals that they have. I could have gotten a turbo you are right. Now I have invested some $$$ into my Non turbo and I am kind of stuck with it unless I unload it for a loss and then save and buy a Turbo that may need some fixing which costs. See my dilemma:confused:
You are right in saying that it is a choice, but you have to be patient and smart about how you spend your money as well as fortunate enough to have nice Turbos in your area that sell for $2,500. I believe that there are some, but where I live I have never seen a nice AWD Turbo Talon/Eclipse sell for that low. It is way too popular. The few times I did see one it was garbage.
