Am I the only person on the planet that likes the 95-96 bumpers better haha, I see everyone looking to go to a 97+ bumper and such, but I bought the 95 because I like the look better, Now Granted,if I was going FMIC then the 97+ bumper is certainly better off, Just curious if anyone else out there likes the stock 95-96 Bumpers. Please dont flame :)

I actually like that 95 look I miss it kinda cause I switched to the 97. I might actually go back to the 95 if I can find some headlights.

I prefer the 95-96 rear bumper. It makes the car look less bulbous from the rear. The sideskirts are kind of a draw really, they kinda need to match the rear. I prefer the 97+ front end though. My car looked ok with the 95 front but I fell in love with it again when I converted.

They look alright but the 95-96 bumpers make the cars look too tame and happy whereas the 97+ bumpers actually make the cars look more agressive and less like talons. It's kinda like mitsubuishi gave them front bodykits after '96.

Yeah thats a nice pic compairson there, with FMIC I would say id probably join the masses in switching, without an FMIC though Id have to say I still love the 95-96, and whats wrong with looking like a talon :p hehe

Syndicate13, is the bumper the only side you have converted? Also, When you get a 97+ bumper, do you have to get 97+ headlights too?

hey ranger yes headlights and bumper need to be converted at same time. there a direct fit. the 95 to me looks soo happy, usually when I pull be hind a friend there like I hate that stupid smile my car had. I loved it cause it ticket them off even more after I beat them, so it's not that bad. it only sucks when your car breaks and you start looking at it and it's steady smiling at you and you just wanna kick it.

Yes, the front bumper is the only part I have converted. The sideskirts and rear bumper are still stock 95 pieces. I had the entire car repainted when I switched over so I got rid of the Logan Silver Metallic at the bottom. Check my gallery for some more pics of the rear and whatnot. 97+ headlights are required as well, they are shorter in the middle than 95-96 lights, plus they look meaner being black.

Overall the 97+ front bumper is a much cleaner look, The 97+ rear bumper/wing are butt ugly IMO, makes the car look like a giant grocery cart.

i like the 97+ bumpers better...i agree, more cleaner and more agressive looking, i don't really like how the fogs look on the 95's...i went with a 97 front and 98 rear, my car is a 95, i just love the A$$ of the 97+ its big and round....the 97 and ups just look F'N sexy :thumb:

I have the a 96. I do like the looks of them, however, I do have to agree that the 97+ front end does look more agressive. I also like the black headlights more. Other than that I am very happy with it. I like the fog lamps. And the rear I have no complaints about.

One of my favorites though that we all share is the stock hood with the bubble! :thumb:

'm a 96 :D <-- look its the front of my car.

i'd trade up for the 97-99 style in a heart beat.

I like the smile LOL, it tells me things are going to be ok. I mean just imagine, you find out you have crank walk, you look at you car, and you get the nice comforting smile to cheer you up , HAR HAR

I love the 97+ Talon bumpers, it's a nice inbetween of the 95-96s and 97+ eclipses... gotta love the evil smile it's got.. it looks even better with 97-99 eclipse lights..but I'm still trying to figure out a good fix for the gap...like an insert for that or something....

personally i perfer the 96 stock rear end. the newer ones are more bubbly just as mentioned above. :talon:
