Just recently I went to this custom auto body shop to have my OE turbo style spoiler painted, which is basically a gsx spoiler, and I asked the guy about installing it but he said it would be a problem because my brake lights wouldn't work because they were wired to my stock wing on my 98 GS. I also didn't get a brake light kit for my turbo spoiler that I had ordered so therefore he wouldn't be able to install it over my stock one. Anyone ever ran into this problem?

ummm....... just unwire the 3rd brake light and install the new wing until u get ur new 3rd brake light. the oem light should be in a closed circuit loop. just take the light out of the loop until u get the new one. should work fine.

I had a shop paint and install mine and they filled all the holes, I unwired the 3rd light. Now i just dont have one period
