Hey, I want some help. I am trying to find clear rear bumper lens for my 97 eclipse. I am talking about the two circular lenses right around the liscense plate area. The stock ones look sooooo crappy; Especially after you've seen the clear after market ones! JC whitney used to carry them (Made by APC) but APC discontinued them so I am kinda stuck :(
I know that they are not all the same for 2nd Gen. 95&96 are the same, 97 is different and actually I think they change again in either 98 or 99. Anyhow, It just one small little mod that is pissing me off cause I wanna change it but cant find it. HELP! Oh ya, I already checked Ebay.

You mean the reverse lights?

Ya? Is that what they are called? That would probably have a lot to do with why I can't find them. ;) I got the flipping name wrong! LOL! Where should I get em?

Is that all it is? That would be sweet. How do I defogg them and prevent it from hapening again. Oh by the way, that ebay auction was the part I was talking about. So if I clean mine they will look like that?

No I've tried it. They still looked ### and yellow.

Really....What did you do to clean them? I can even get that far. I can't get the lens cap off the rest of the reverse light assembly (the plastic wiring harness) because it is like sealed on there. I don't want to break the thing! Anybody know how to get the lens cap off without breaking the plastic harness?

I used some oven cleaner and mine came out looking pretty nice. I also used some mag aluminum polish after that and they looked alot better but still yellowish. I now have new ones from the dealer and they are perfect and beautiful.

Ok, thanks for all the help guys. I think I am going to buy new ones. I still have a couple questions though. Is there a way to get the lens off of the plastic wiring harness? It seemed sealed on there to me. Also, if I buy new ones, are they going to eventually turn fgoggy and yellow? Is there a way to prevent it from happening?
