I got some side skirts and was wondering how everybody else approached them. I know they bolt in some locations and probably self tapping screws for inside the door jambs, however, I was wondering if I should also go with double sided sticky tape to help keep the kit close to the body.

I was told the stock molding on the bottom of the Eclipses (mine is 96) is held on by double sided sticky tape.

Any info helps guys, thanks!! :dsm:

Oh and they are the Blitz side skirts (I know I know, but they came in the kit I got) :D

And 1 more thing, I did a search before and didn't really find anything.

well stock skirts are held on by plasitc clips, screws and a very thin double sided tape along the edges.

are the skirts blitz high or low?

Wow, you know, I have no clue. I didn't know there was a difference. ??

Mine are screwed in the wheel wells with self tapers and rivited in the door jambs.

Mine are alot like the ones in the pic below. They have the "vents" in the rear of them.

ive got the low blitz skirts, fabbed up 5 brackets to attach the skirt to the underside of the car, and also connected them in the wheel wells where the 2 bolts are on the car. Then used some white caulkin to fill in the lil gap at the tops. Side skirt fitment is a bi***. You may want to look into getting the skirts molded if you arent worried about cracking.

Sorry i dont have any good pics of my side skirts.
