i reupholstered my sunroof cover

well my old faded grey cloth was drooping and hitting me in the head and the brown stuff that held it together was pealing and falling to my eyes so i reupholstered it in black vinyl i had left over from my stereo install. opinions wanted sorry dont have before pics

7 inch screen is in the dash and the faceplate was wired up into the headliner while the radio brain is behind the screen. i knew alot of people would ask about this but its all good ask away definately something u dont see everyday

Looks like a good job from here. I'd only have recommended a color closer to stock. I wonder if it'll be letting more heat into the passenger compartment when it gets hot out.

thanks for all the replies and comments i appreciate it. the rest of the roof will eventually be black so yeah there will be a brief amount of time ill be doing the multi color thang. it wasn;t that hard at all

remove the pieces from outside car with the glass angled up
spray them with super 77 glue then lay the fabric on top and trim the edges but ill work on a more etensive writeup i think it looks a lot better then the stock cloth or even if i chose a black cloth.

So the sunroof cover is suppose to cover the whole sunroof? When I bought my car the cover was missing so I ordered one from Satan and they sent me the front piece in the picture above with the handle. So there is also a back piece that covers the rest of the sunroof? I was starting to think it was just a dumb design and you had to slide the half cover around to block the sun.

mine messed up to so i took it off and re tinted it with mirrior tint looks good you can see titts in the passenger seat haha

Does the rear piece slide back out of the way when the roof is open? I will have to order one.

unfortionately the super 77 glue i used is coming undone on the top where the vinyl wraps around i believe due to the sun hitting it through the glass SO i had to respray and am gonna find a stronger glue to use before summer hits
