Need help what rims to put on my Eclipse...

Hey.. i just needed help because i finally got the money to get the rims on my car and i have no clue what is going to look good or what... so help me out with what to get... i want either 18" or 19"s... i also want chrome but don't know whats going to look good.... let me know on what you think and post some pictures!!!

chrome can be nice but do you mean like "baller" chrome or more of a racing type wheel in chrome ?

also if your cars not black i myself wouldnot go wiht chrome . a nice gunmetal wiht a chrome polish lip would be nice.

I was also interested in a look similar to this. Since I already have 2 rims set aside for track use, I was looking for a nice looking set of rims to daily drive on. I have a black 99 gst. Im not sure weather to go with 17's or 18's. My only pet pieve is big rims with little brakes (and im on stock size brakes so i consider them small on a 18" wheel). Would you guys have recomendations on wheels? I wanted a clean sizable lip on the wheel and something that would shine at night, not chrome specifically, but that chrome 'racing type' looks just amazing. I was consdering a set of the hp evo's in 18's but am still not sure on those. Again if you guys can recomend any wheels i would very much appreciate it. (Im trying to get a set I coudl possibly afford, so that means crazy volks or works out of the question )

I'm Def. not going for the baller chrome look... i want more of the racing type chrome look but still have style to them... i was looking at a car in the gallery and i saw a red eclipse with i think a Quantum Tek s-15's... something like that but chrome..

Also.. my car is silver right now... im a painter and im planning on painting it this winter... Blue, and silver with a white and blue pearl in it...

Those are pretty cool. Those are Motegi rims and they have a nice lip to them. My friend has them on his celica.

BoostdGSX has some Alessio's.

Stick with the 18's. 19's will ride too rough. that's my opinion though. I went with the 18's and i could be happier.

You should definitely keep your stock rims and send me the cash so I can buy a set.

Michigan roads + rubber-band = bent rims.

You'll want to reserve 19s for summer/fall use, and switch to either your stockers for winter (potholes)/spring (repair of said holes), or just get some 17s, max 18s, for all-round use.

Even the 18s are pushing it.....I went with 17s, and have yet to (knock on wood!) bend anything even though I've hit a couple of pretty sizeable ones this winter.



Granted, a 2G w/18s will look awesome, but 17s with a good drop will be visually very pleasing, too.
