Whats up everyone! I have areal quick ? There is some carbonfiber fenders I want to buy for my eclipse but I dont want to buy them if Im gonna have problems with the law can anyone tell me if it is against the law to have carbon fiber fenders in California???? :dsm:

If you're worried about LEO, simply paint them. It's not like they are going to unbolt your fender when they pull you over for speeding or what not.

Well, unless a K9 starts sniffing your fenders.. :p

Hey, I was just wondering where you found those carbon fiber fenders. I haven't seen any yet. Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I have cf fenders on my 2G and have had them since March and been pulled over probably 12-15 times since them and never been harrassed for my cf hood/fenders/hatch.

whats the difference between those and fiberglass though? Because everyone says the fiberglass ones suck and crack.

Carbon fiber fenders are a fiberglass shell/mold then wrapped in hand laid carbon. CF fenders will also crack and you have to be extremely careful.
