I know this was Up before but I was wondering if any of you have a picture of the calibration point of the speedo needle after its lifted up off the needle stopper. I have a Gs-t so anyone with a picture PLEASE help me out. or I could just have a friend drive by me and match speeds.

i had that problem when i installed gauges and pulled the needles. i left the cover off the instrument panel and drove at 2500 rpm roughly and stuck the speedo needle on at 60 mph. its sure not exact by any means but i have checked it since with someone right behind me and it was pretty close. hope it helps, just a thought.

i did the same thing. besides, a true dsmer can *feel* how fast they are going. :D No need for a speedo!

Actually Screw it. I can feel how fast I am driving, and anyways there really is no problem if I'm driving the same speed as other cars...... HAHA right..

I don't me to hijack this thread, but when I re-did the colors of my gauges somehow I messed up the temp gauge so it stays all the way at the top of the gauge adn the oil pressure is all the way at the bottom  Is therre a certain way to fix or calibrate these gauges also?

The oil one is a complex little gauge, take it apart and look at it. As for the speedo, tach, temp, etc..get someone with a logger and go by what that says. Your computer gets vehicle speed, rpm, and all the like from sensors under the hood, just match up the gauges to what they say.

leave the plastic cover off.

make sure your tach is accurate, go to second gear, 2K on the tach,

= 20mph

Are you sure thats for a gs-t? Is it the same with awd and fwd?
