I think you need to drop it a little. :shhh:

Otherwise, I like the rims. Nice headlights too. :thumb:

I like it! :thumb: Your wheels kind of look like my old Konig Verdicts.
With those Pro-Lines your car is going to be slammed!

I'm going to put a subtle body kit on it as well b/c this is going to be a show car that eats honduhs :talon:

Looks good man I like them can't wait to see it with the pro lines on it!!! Oh ya, where di ya get those headlights I love them they would look geat on my blue 92' tsi :thumb: :thumb: :talon:

yeah once lowered it'll looks alot nicer... nice wheels by the way...

Although I would highly recomend to keep your car with no body kit... IMHO it looks alot better. but its your car. :thumb: :dsm:

mad props.

ps: when you have it done take some more pics in daytime so we can apreciate it better.

:thumb: Slick ride!

IMHO, forget the body kit. The way I see it, the 1Gb and 2Ga Talons had the most awesome stock side-skirts available. Combine that with the rather pathetic selection of 1G body kits out there and therefore a limited selection of front-ends, you're going to have a heck of a time matching up the character lines of the car properly. The 1Gb front ends may not be the hottest looking or the most butch, but it is very clean, and that has something going for it in and of itself.

Instead, get some big-brakes to fill that wheel-void.

And save up the rest of the dough you would've needed to use to paint your body kit - dump it into a good set of lowering springs.

That'll get you all the looks, and improve your corner-cutting to-boot.

:thumb:

One thing I miss about my 1Gb GS DOHC (also silver, like yours) is how well it handles compared to my 2Ga TSi, even though the latter is lowered on some awesome Teins and Tokicos, it just doesn't seem nearly as tossable as my woefully underpowered but much lighter Eclipse.

Now why have they not come out with a subtle yet agressive lip kit for 1st gen talons and eclipses? theyre probably one of the most popular imports, and have a huge aftermaket following. it would frusterate me to no end that you can get 43 different lip kits for civics but zero for eclipses and talons.

I thought the 1g could use a lip from a Mazda 6 or something.

Information PLEASE...elaborate some

after considering my options...EXnay on the body kit...I am intrigued however, by the possibility of a front lip from ^^...?

could you actually use a mazda 6 lip? if not im looking to possibly make my own like that guy that made one from parts from home depot. im in desperate need of a lip. do you guys have any clue as to where i can get my hands on a front lip for my 93 clipse.

:thumb: Love the wheels, looks damn good, and it goes with the color of your car. Like everyone else said... I'd forget the bodykit. theres just somethin about 1g's that i love

since you brought this thread back so someone would answer this particular question, yes you can mold the lip of the bumper onto the bottom of your front bumper. there is a whole thread here on tuners about doing it. I wouldnt do it because molding anything to a urethane bumper is risky. Also it didn't line up quite right, but you could mold more onto the back to make it look right...i guess

OMG seems like way to much of a hassle to get a lip to look right. thanks anyway
