ya everyone says you wiull need door caps to do thw converstion but what if you alraedy are a gst or gsx 95-96 will the 95-96 door caps worlk with 97-99 sideskirts??? thanks alot i tried to find the answer but no one every says withc year door caps or if they are the same

I really dont know, id assume so. But i dont like doing that. When i did the talno thing, i had to get door caps. as far as within eclipse swapping im not sure

All I can tell you is that the 2Ga sideskirts are different from the 2Gb. Little different design, though you probably already knew that. You should just get the 2Gb sides and put them on. It might look bitchin with the 2Ga door caps.

I got some 2gb side skirts w/end caps sitting in my garage waiting to be painted. Are you asking if they will just fit or look decent? If you're asking if they fit, I'll slap them on and tell you.

I have an RS without skirts and I know this answer :p The 95-96 door caps do not fit with the 97-99 side skirts because the door cap for the 95-96 is fatter towards the bottom and the 97-99 is thinner. It will leave you with an overhang from the door caps to the skirts if using 95-96 door caps and 97-99 skirts.
