When I bought my talon it had an old Clifford Alarm on it (not sure the model), which wasn't installed very well; doesn't work other than to lock/unlock my driver side door.

I want to get it removed, and have a new alarm installed, but I have no idea what to get, or how much they go for. I don't need the high end best of the best, but I want something good.

Some features I'd like:

- 2 way capabilities
- be able to lock/unlock both doors and trunk
- starter disable
- shock sensor
- built in turbo timer would be great, but not necessary

I'm not even too sure what all features are available now, been along time since I've bought one.

Any help would be apreciated.

Viper 791XV

all the features you're looking for, including short run (TT)

probably the best on the market in my opinion. but have a certified shop do the work, and check their credentials first as well. make sure the installer has done a ton of them, ours has over 2000 viper units installed. he's good. he's MECP certified also. make sure you find a good reputable shop that will stand behind their work. that is the most important part of the equation is the install

I have a KARR alarm. Some vehicles come equipt with them from the factory. I have several features such as: Auto. window roll up/down when you set the alarm, Auto door lock/unlock with the ignition, keyless entry and trunk....Check out their website.
