Since my car's been non-op since i blew one of those little pipes that run coolant from up top to down below and it jus so happens its one of those nice parts that rarely break and are only avalible from the dealer, i took some time to dress up my engine a little.

you paint that yourself.. or... get it done...? Eww... while your at it, paint that UICP. That thing is NASSSTAY. cover looks nice though.
 
Did you paint that yourself? What type of paint did you use, definitely looks nice
 
i did that to my valve cover, except since the body shop at my vo tech powdercoats i got it powdercoated black for free
 
Used some duplicolor high temp paint and used some of the red paint from my friend's caliper paint. Prolly gonna paint the UICP when I have a chance, but I havent driven it in almost two weeks im gonna go insane.

well if he did what i did, i masked only the letters which took my like 15 minutes, then i just used a brush and red paint to paint the letters and those lines.

Like this? I re-sprayed a ton of stuff under the hood .. i wanted a good clean look .. everythings got like 4 layers of clear on it :thumb:

yeah i'm working on mine right now....LOL.....got the whole valve cover down...trying to polish it......
