Does anyone have experience switching the stock G2 instrument cluster with a Heads up display of any kind?

I would like to use the setup out of a corvette but i dont think the systems are at all compatible.

I want to be able to display tach and speedo information
 
DEFI has a HUD (heads up display) of some sort. check them out on the web.
