it asks me to have it make the parking lights flip on and off where is that at and where would i put the wires to have it do that..also how would i get it to unlock and lock from a remote? please help me

Didn't you get any instructions and/or a wiring diagram? To hook up the parking lights, I'd assume you just splice into the parking light wires. For the remote locks, I'd guess it would also be similar. I would take it to Circuit City or Best Buy if you're totally lost though.

ok thanks yes i did get a manual but it dont help much LOL so im asking other dsm 1gens owners to see where i would hook it up to unlock the doors with out having to push it

I wrote up my alarm install when I did it; I tapped just about everything off the ECU or the door controller (non-factory-alarm 1G).

If this is a FAQ, I could be convinced to produce neat versions of the wiring diagrams and get them up on VFAQ.com.

I'm trying to locate the ground for my turn signals. I think I found them in the front. There's one attached to each side of the engine compartment above the wheel well. My front signals don't flash when the headlights are on, and they fast flash the rest of the time. I've checked the bulbs, and they're ok. I cleaned and polished the connections with my dremel. No improvement. The flasher relay is good. It's acting as if I have a bad ground somewhere. Also, is there more than one ground in this system? One other thing, the previous owner had an alarm installed. It looks like the bigger part of the alarm was removed. Some relays and sensors were left in, however. I've already had to rewire the ignition back to stock. Do you have any idea where the alarm would be tied into the turn signals or headlights? Any help would be appreciated.
