Turbo Timer on a NON-Turbo??

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

trust me its wasted money. turbo timers are pretty useless on our cars even with turbos. our watercooled degign and top bottom oil flow makes it rather hard for the oil to coke on our cars. the time you spend parking or even driving down the street and pulling in your driveway is often enough to let the turbo cool down enough. unless you fly into your drive way after boosting for the past 5 minutes and then immediately shut the car off, they're not providing that much help.

their useful and do help, but most people would be just fine without the use of one. and it'd be rediculous on a nt.

im sure i would, as hard as i drive my car it can't be good to just park it and shut it off, and let it sit in all that heat. good idea or not?

Regarless of how hard you drive. A TT's only real function is to stop oil from coking in the turbo lines. It's not to cool the engine.

I'm sorry but I think that is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I'm just being honest. Completely stupid rediculous idea
