Replacing Dome Light...

Ok i serached but nothing helped me it didn't really answer my question...first off the no interior lights come on when the doors are open...but thwne the hatch is opne the trunk light is on....but aren't there under dash lights and the dome light when the door opens...also the left dome light is blown right one works...how do i get the plastic cover off...pry it off...and what could be wrong with no lights coming on at all.

make sure you don't have the switch in the wrong position - set it to 'door' if it's like my 98

thats probably all it is, but if you do have to get the cover off, just wedge a screwdriver under the cover and take it off. You could probably even use your hand.

So, let me get this straight... You guys without a sunroof ACTUALLY have a dome light? Damnit.... that sucks, i wish i had a dome light. I have to carry around a small maglight in the center console so that i can look for anything, ESPECIALLY if it is in the back seat, or floorboard. Where is your dome light at? Can someone post a pic?

no it's not the swtich....althoguh i haven't checked any fuses yet...since i haven't had any time....no lights at all comeon when either door is opened...no dome light...no floor light...the little cirle light around the igniton isn't on and the hatch light dosen't work...wiring or fuses...and yes my 2g has no sunroof so i have a dome light....anyways it's not the swtich I get no light at all....kinda wierd
