Projector Lights

I have them and am pretty satisfied except that I have a lot less periphial vison, becuase of the projector part. I have the same ones you are going to get but mine were black but now they are white. They are a very good upgrade as you now have a nice light pattern and a very good cut-off line. Also the halo is great when your riding around at dusk and want to be a showoff.

EDIT: Make sure you at least have $40 extra to buy the H1 Silverstar Bulbs, cause that will help you out a lot.

This is a picture of my headlights(the halo's do not light up the road). Also I changed the white LED's to blue ones, but you get the picture.

there nice, but beforew u instal;l em,go to the Autoparts store and spend cash on decent light bulbs, the one u get with the projectors arent any good

Is there any wireing or any other work needed to make them work? Or do they just go in and hook up like a stock light would?

Yes there is some work. Find a pair of old broken eclipse or talon headlights, break them into a million pieces and pull the wiring harness out then just use the sock wiring harness to connect to the wires coming out of the back of the new headlights. You will have to wire the halo's in with the parking lights, but there is a red and black wire coming out for those so it is pretty easy. If you need anymore help just ask.

Mine plugged right in, no crazy hacking or swapping plugs. Get some good bulbs like was said before and take the cap off of the back of your stock lights and use them on the projectors. The caps(covers) seem to melt on most of the projectors around here but the stock caps are stronger and don't melt as easy.

You didn't have to do the whole "wire harness" thing?

Thats hot :thumb:

i have the same projectors except mine are black instead of chrome.
i had to fab up a wiring harness as well.another thing i didn't like was the way the low beams were aimed, and i can't seem to figure out how to adjust them."LeJeune123" do you know how to adjust the low beam of the projectors?
i also noticed that my projectors have H1 bulbs for low/high beams.i've heard people say that they have H3 bulbs for low and H1 for high.
i have silverstars and they are bright if i can just get them aimed properly so LeJeune123 please help me out.the projectors don't have the lil wheel adjusters like the oem housings have.they have 2 screws underneath the projector part so i'm assuming thats what you adjust with.
i'm including a pic of the fabbed up wiring harness.i just cut my old one off the headlights and put them on using wire nuts.
and these projectors don't have the plastic caps on the back,or the lil level on top for adjusting purposes!!!
1st pic is what the wiring looks like when you get the projector.
2nd pic is the wiring i fabbed up using the stock connector.
3rd pic is just showing the front.
4th pic is showing the back.you can see that they use rubber covers where some use plastic covers. ithink the 2 screws under the projector part are the adjustment screws, then again i may be wrong until LeJeune123 corrects me :thumb:

AHAAA the diffrence between the 119 and the 148 dollar sets has just revealed itself...the higher priced ones are plug and play..while the cheaper ones require a hack and splice job

Yes the two 8mm screws next to the low beam adjust it I can't remember which is which so just try it out. Also that wiring harness you made wasn't needed becuase the conectors on the back of the projectors hook into the 9005 and 9006 connectors of the stock harness and the other end connects to the plug on the car. But, I guess you didn't want to destroy your perfectly nice old headlights. When you adjust the low beams the whole projector moves so make sure you are not moving it to much to the side or the halo will cover half of it up(you'll see what I mean). I have H1 bulbs in both my high and low beams. I wonder which is brighter the H1 or the H3 cause whith some modifications I know I could fit the bigger H3 in there. Hope this helped.

Actually look in the pic of the projector on your car and you can see that the lens is kind-of hiding behind the halo.
