decent component set

wiring kit from walmart $30

this wiring kit form walmart.... for 30 bucks, i doubt it's 4 gauge, and if you dont run 4 guage to a 1000 watt amp that runs at 2 ohms, which you prolly will run it....then it wont turn on. you're lookin at a 8 guage kit probably, did you factor in RCAs and an amp for the highs? since they're components they want some juice to get the sound of of 'em.
is that alpine deck the one that runs "60 watts x 4"? if it is, get that walmart kit if it's like an 8 guage, and run the power wire from that deck righ tto your battery, i used to have one of their 60 watt models wired to the battery and it made 2 sets of alpine type r components sound quite nice. but i seriously recommend running a 4 channel amp on them, i upgraded the the alpine V12 307 amp and it madea HUGE difference in quality and how loud it could go, and will definately balance off the bass with some nice mids and highs.
if you go with the 2 amp set up, you'll be needing some more cables/terminals and a capacitor or you're headlights will dim and what not, also the subs will hit faster since they're not running from the battery but from the capacitor which lets the amp grab power a little quicker off the recharge.
hope that helps :)
but either way the alpine deck rules, go with that at the least :)
