Painting a 1g BOV.

How hard is it to paint the top of the 1g BOV? I wanna do it in either red or black, so, can anyone recommend some good products to do it with?

Any enamel. It doesn't get hot enough to worry about.

If you want to be cool, use black wrinkle paint.

sand it down nice, strip the paint, and choose your color of paint at the local auto parts store.

thanks... I am going with black.. might look into the "l337" wrinkle paint. Just giving a sense of some style to the stocky. thx again.

Painted mine flat black, but it rubs the underside of the hood on about half of the BOV for some reason. I blame the cheapo flange I got from who knows where.
