ok ive got a whole bunch of crusty white crap on the front of my hood and i cant get it off i tried turtle wax's bug & Tar Remover and that helped a little but it still looks pretty noticable, Any Solutions?? or has this happened to any 1 else? :barf:

Damn car humpers! OMG

Are you sure it's not dried wax? You can also try some paint cleaner/polishing compound/followed by wax, this has always worked for me to get marks off the paint.

im 100% sure its not primer, i have a 1998 and my paint is in almost perfect condition exept for the front where the white crap is, it feels rough and i can scrape it off a lil bit so that tells u right there its not the primer.

ok when my 3 layers of wax comes off ill post some pics the wax covers it up a little bit so u cant see it as well.

white crap on the bumper????? well did you have your girlfriend on the hood?

;)

you tryin to say his girlfriend has dandruff down under??? mine has the same shit, looks like bug gore all over it but it wont come off, i even tried wet sanding it and it will NOT come off, its irritating the hell out of me, its on my front bumper, and also the fronts of my side mirrors..booooo

ok go to your local parts dealer checker or autozone, or even paint store and buy what is called buffing compouynd haha i know that is somehing that u all dont know what it is but it will work. wet the surface get dry white cotten cloths and put some onj it then rub it with your hands and i mean u have to do it over and over again the u take some hand wax and u put it on there. then u take a puffer and u buff it so its smooth. but keep using the buffing compound till it is gone ide say 4 times or 5 outa do it

alright guys thanks for the input, ima try the rubbing compound this weekedn and ill let ya guys know how it turns out

If it is tree sap, I found a product that is UNBELIEVABLE at removing it. It's called SapSucker. I swear it wipes right off with a towel. :thumb:
