Hey guys, i have a 99gst with the whole infinity system(amp, deck, etc), but NO cd changer

What does this mean? Is there a way to put a cd changer in my car and control it with the stock deck?

Is there a factory cd changer i can buy and install to hook right up?

I just need a changer, so anything that will hook up with my stock deck easily will be what i want

Is there already a plug going into my trunk for the changer? Or do i have to run this?

I dont want to replace my deck, i want the factory one

ALSO, which speakers do you guys recommend to use with the factory amp and deck?

Who has had goog experience with speakers in this sort of setup?

I used to be all into stereos and had massive systems in my previous cars, but i dont want to mess with it now. Just need a changer and some decent speakers(2 of my stock ones are dead)

Yes, you can install a factory changer and control it with the deck.

Yeah, you could go to the dealership and pay big bucks, or check eBay. I would also recommend placing a "want to buy" add here in the classifieds.

If there was allready a changer installed, and it was removed, the the plug should still be there. Otherwise, you'll need to run one from the deck.

It's all a matter of personal preference. I prefer Rockford Fosgate...

I hope this all helps.... :thumb:

okk thanks

but even if there isnt a cable going to the back, the back of the deck has a plug for a factory wire right? i want to do it as factory as possible without having to have stupid fm modulators and junk

im almost sure my stock deck has cd changer controls(cant remember, im in europe now for 5 months)

Is there a specific cd changer that i should look for(factory)

Is it a 6 disk, 10????

If i can do this fairly easily and cheap(ebay is great for stock shit) i would be really h appy because my cd player is starting to shit on me and doesnt read much anymore

where would this wire come from if it IS already there, where in the trunk should i look for it?

thanks for all the help

Hehe you're lucky I just pulled the cartridge from my car to change CD's. It's a 10 disc CD changer. Ill post the model number later when I go back outside ;)
