ok, if youre gonna flame, dont even bother reading...

i bought 2 3" red neons and a 15" blacklight offa my friend and i need some help runnin them off of battery power, cause you cant plug all 3 into one cigarette lighter, and id like for it to have a switch (to be nice to the cops)
could someone help talk me through it?

At wal-mart, they sell 1 to 3 and 1 to 4 cigarette lighter adapters. I bought one with 3. It also has a kill switch on it. Perfect for what you want to do, and they are only like 10 bux or less.

you can pick up a small switch at home depot. you'll have to find a power source to tap into, easiest is to just go to the fuse box (inside) pull out a fuse strip some wire put it in the fuse socket and push the fuse back in so it holds it. then run that wire to the switch, and from the switch to the lights, splice them all together. put the switch wherever you want. you're set. kinda ghetto, but it works.

Hey man, i had two neons under by where your feet goes one on drivers side and one on passanger side, what i did was i cut off the cigertte lighter tips and then took out the two little bulbs on the room there should be two little switches one for driver side little light and one for pass side. then u just wrap 1 wire to one side and 1 to the other side and then do the same on the other side for the other neon. then when ever u want them on u just hafto click the button. hope that helped ya outOMG

i was looking on cardomain and saw a neon underbody kit on a talon and he said he didnt put the rear light on because there is no place for it unless it is highly visible. Is this true???

anyone have any pics of a talon/eclipse with a white neon kit?????

That is not true... I had a set on my 99 and you couldnt even see the tube...well my muffler got too hot once and melted one of the clips so one side fell and you could see half the tube, I fixed it abck and never had a problem again.

If you have stock bumpers it'll be trickie, but you can do it just play with it a little. Aftermarket bumpes makes it WAY easy to hide the tube. If you dont care about he tube being seen then you could jus put it up there anyway you want.

...on a side note, I have some StreetGlow Gold Series neons for sell $150.oo +s&h. :p

Good luck.

most states have that law now. but PA still has the strict laws on just about every car law... good luck, also ask the place where u are getting it installed at or where u are buying them from, they will tell you

im pretty sure that they are legal as long as you dont drive with them on, as it is a distraction to other drivers some thing like that

I think the Underbody kits still look good. Like to see them too. I never feel bored seeing a car float or hoover. I use to have them. Beware of some cops..... they just want to pick with you. I got pulled over 8 times with them in a four year period, but never got a ticket...... nothing but a warning and a lecture:rolleyes:

I still pimped them while I had the car and enjoyed every minute of it.

They have just been made illegel in my area while driving. It used to be legal driving or parked as long as they were not blue or red. Now any color is illegal while driving, and any color is legal while parked. But that may just be done south

I think you can have them, only certain colors, my friend has red ones on his shitty cavy. Cant be red or blue, cops say it imitates an emergency vehicle, thats the law here....

Same here.
this one time I had these 3 guys tell me I needed to get purple ones to match my car(look up my "Morons want me to join their "Eclipse club"" thread). I'm not too crazy about them. I think some colors look better than others. Like I think a black car with reds look pretty good. But not purple.

yeah ever state is different here in washington you can have them you just have to have them off when you leave the parking lots. but from personal experience i think they are an eye catcher. my car got stolen and yep those were one of the things riped off.

around here, i got pulled over for a neon license plate frame, strobes inside that bump to the music, and cobra eyes...but that was on my 91 cavalier...not the laser!

You want someone with experience. Its me. DON'T GET NEON UNDERLIGHTS!!!! I love them, they look awesome, but only for about
1-2 months. I've had 5 sets of underlights. Two were StreetGlow Gold Series, the "best" on the market. I've never had a set of underlights last more than 6 weeks. If your cars lowered, forget it. If not, you might have a chance. But if you still want them, the brightest are StreetGlow Gold Series. The LiteGlow underlights are good ones also. The brightest I had was 2 sets of liteglow underlights under my car. I had a long tube in the front, 2 longs on the side with 2 short ones, and a short one in the back. Green glows the best, then blue. LiteGlows Red looks orange, but StreetGlows is Ruby Red. Good luck with underlights, I hope they work out good for you.

with neon kits YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!! i think thats the best response your gonna get.
