Which Carbon Fiber Hood?

Well my car got pwned by a log not to long ago, and i need to know what is the ebst CF hood to buy, i want stock OEM look, thanks.

Well I have seen them on ebay for 300-400 then 150 for shpping... get ready to pay out the ass for it

My VIS hood was purchased through a sellar of ebay for $450 shipped.. Can't complain about the product, I love it.

How hard was it to drill holes for the pins.

I have recently been reading about alot of complaints with vis hoods...that their quality is hit and miss.
when the time comes for me i will be getting a hood from franks fiberglass

you will probably want the bolt on hood...it uses 2 pins and the pin on hood uses 4 pins.

Well, the guy I bought it from is no longer a registered user on ebay.. (strange).

I used a tungsten bit w/ a dremel to grind the holes for the hood.

When I get a cf hood, I'll definitely be getting a Fiber Images hood. I've also heard it's a hit or miss with ViS. But I've seen Fiber Images weave in person and it's awesome. Can't say that about the ViS hood I saw.
Fiber Images should be a bit more expensive, but their stuff is great!

I can't personally complain about it. It's doing great.. Held up to 3 months of 95-100 degree weather, and it still looks great... It took me about 15 minutes to get the hood on and lined up properly. Then I took my time with the pins, and took about another 30-45 minutes.

too bad i cant see any images on the eclipse ones, or find out the prices

I haven't seen a Fiber Images Eclipse hood. But my buddy who owns a Audi S4 has one on his car and it looks great! He is a Fiber Images dealer, so that's how I found out about them. Also the hood should be a little more then $500 then you have to pay for shipping.
