gun metal to chrome?

hi i got some gun metal rims at a really good price but i just got them for the price ...i hate the color. its 17x7 and i wanted to know if there is any way to make them chrome? i saw in some tv show that u could put chrome over different things thats y i ask. and if u could get it done around how much would it cost? and anyone know of any shops around nyc?........ty

Well from what I've heard it costs a SH#T load so what i would is sell the rims at better price than what u paid for them (obviously) then buy some chromies if you heart is really set on them. I just think that would be so much easier but just my 2 cents

at crome shops they sand blast so that shuld take off the gun metal

Well there is some chrome spray paint at wal-mart :laugh: ...but over here...triple plating is about 25-35 a wheel with a lifetime warranty.
