What cd changer do i need?

I bought a stock 6 disc cd changer for a real good deal. When I went to put it in the power wire, and the audio wire have the wrong plugs. WTF? Shouldn't all the DSM's have the same wiring for the cd changers? Anybody know what changer I do need?

I don't think all of them are the same. I remember seeing a couple different versions of the stock stereo. So i'm guessing you have to buy the stock unit with the cd changer buttons on it. i know mind didn't have it.

Mine does have the cd changer buttons on it. It's the tape/cd combo. It was already pre wired for the changer like most DSM's are.

Why do I need another head unit? I have a stock cd/tape player, and the cd changer is factory too, it just has the wrong plugs

Mine is just a tape player with the changer controls

Your car wants the 10-CD changer. If you adapt the power wires to the 6-disker, I'm not sure the DIN cable carries the right signals to the head unit.
