:laser: I was thinking about doing a mod on the center consul....basically redoing the whole thing. It just looks bulky and was wondering if anyone has done it b4, or even if its possible. the car is a manual, i was thinking id run into trouble with that...advice?? :laser:

if you think it is going to be too much trouble... than don't do it. If you believe you will be able to get through it, do it.

anything CAN be done...if the hardware doesn't exist it can be fabbed, any shape you want, can be fabbed....it's all just how much time/money/effort you are willing to put into it

...this is extremely "show", but an example none-the-less.

He used to have a 'glassed dash but OEM looking. They totally redid the car this year. Yeh, that cluster is crazy! I think of the Sentinels from the Matrix when I see it. He will definitely do well on the circuit this year and will be in HCI in the next couple months.

Get some urethane foam, carve it to the shape you want, glass over it, paint to match. Not really a hideous job for a first-try at glassing.

never would have thought of that...lot easier and could be less boxy then cardboard or something... :D
