ok. i want to repaint my whole car but i never didnt anything that has to do with painting before. i know it takes alot of time but ill do it. can someone give me a list of tools i need (EVERYTHING) and also the price of each part?....i know some of u would say use search but i did and i didnt really find the info i want.

Look around the rest of the web too. ( I know sometimes I forget there is an internet outside of DSMtuners too. :) ) Keep in mind that most aspects of auto painting are not vehicle specific. Just reaserch for a while. You may want to spend a few months preparring, and practicing on scrap metal before you hit your paint with the sanding block. And for God sakes, go to borders with 50 bucks! Before the internet we used these things called books, they have a lot of them. :p I think about a million on auto body alone. Good luck! and post pics as you work! we all want to see it.

wtf is a book?.....LOL j/k. thoes r helpful links but they still dont tell me all the tools i need and the prices

Which is why he mentions to do your serching elsewhere aswell not only on here "dsmtuners.com" you may find some help but not always and if you always do find help you'd wise to make search on your own too and compare. Prices do range pending on what brand you may want to use or prefer. I too am going at the moment moding the exterior of my 1997 RS so please dont feel like am trying to be an a$$ at all. I too am searching and reading up on books that I take home from my local library believe it or not it helps a lot to make your knowledge larger rather than just what others may tell you to do. I am not saying not to what others tell you to, but if you have no experience on what you like to succeed I suggest more research and learn from others. I have gone to 3 local body and paint shops just to see how things are done and have graspped what I think I need in order to perform whats helpful or best for you. I wish I could help you with the pricing questions or tools needed but I just wanted to let you know that I am in that same stage where I need to start getting tools and complete my collection LOL, I will post pictures and answer all questions thrown at me for that matter, hope you reach whats wanted and find useful help if not already finished with your project.
