I have a 1G laser. Needless to say lasers lack the styling of the eclipse/talon. Well I got the body work from an eclipse and I'm going to put it on. Looking at the hardware for the spoiler it'll be a PITA to mount it like the facotry does it.

I'm thinking about using epoxy to put it on instead of the brackets and stuff. What does anyone else think? I'm not sure if I'd put it on before or after I paint the car. Any input on the subject. I think a good epoxy or JB weld should hold it on quite well.

i used autobody double sided tape, with some apoxy. works GREAT!! In fact, its stronger than the factory plastic peices... just make sure you position the spoiler right the FIRST time, or else you might be havin some problems... but use apoxy and double sided 3m tape along the edges to kinda keep the edges flush. Ive had mine on for about a month now, and going at freeway speeds in the rain and also had harsh wind and rain on it. Its still on good! I have yet to see how it holds up in -10 degree weather...

Man I seriously don't think i could put those holes where they need to be exactly. expecially for the sides...its really hard to measure rounded surfaces and get the holes exactly where they need to be. I would really love to do that I just don't know how its possible to put the holes where they need to go.

What I did, I set the spoiler on the car, marked the edges on the hatch so I knew where it would be located, put the brackets on, put tape on the holes for the brackets, and put a dab of paint in the middle of the tape. Then I matched the edges with the previously made marks, and slowly let the piece down until it was matched up correctly, and pressed down to get the paint to touch the hatch. Then I drilled the hole where the paint was, of course starting with a small bit to make sure it was in the correct area. This was last year, its still on there great, amd doesn't move for anything. It's been through highway speeds, strong winds, rain, snow, ice, sun... the works. It might be easier to do it some other way, but this is how I thought of to do it.
