I ran a search and only 3 thread, none of which helped me..........I was on www.racerwheel.com and i was looking at the e-brakes, they don't have them specifically for my car so i am assuming its universal. .....My question is how hard is it to take off teh stock e-brake & put this new one on???

TIA,
Mike

I was wondering that same thing, but that seems like taking a chance, theres no screw or rivet that just takes the assembly off.

that's what im trying to figure out, i will get a link to hte one i want to get & somone please let me know LOL

I used a hacksaw on mine. There is metal underneath. Just take your time and be careful. For the momo, I had to cut some of the metal.

do you know if htey come w/ that boot? So let me get this straight

Get a hack saw and cut the plastic off, then i will see hte metal, unscrew stock one (how do you put the boot on???, then screw in the one i purchase?

I bought a momo and a momo boot. It's expensive. Yours does not come with a boot. You would just have to cut with a little precision. The handle will slide over the existing part. You will probably just have to cut away some rubber. The part under the rubber is your e-brake, so you don't want to remove it. Do not put a screw in the bottom of the new handle if it has a screw. It will disable your e-brake. My handle is solid with 3 screws. The bootwent on 1st, then the handle, then I tapped dimples with a drill, so that the screws would really hold. I put the screws in, then slipped the boot on and enjoyed the new look. :thumb:
