Favorite valve cover color.

Ok, if you could have your valve cover powdercoated any color what color would you choose. Consider all color options come with polished lettering.

It's red right now (it's a JDM engine), but if I were to "rice up" the engine bay, I'd probably do a black and white scheme, and since the engine block is already black, I could make the valve cover white. But then I'd want to paint my car black, as well.

Mine is gunmeatal. It closely matches my car color. I also have the intake manifold and ic pipes and intake pipe all powdercoated the same color

mines white right now with raised letters but i think you should only do white if youre like me and keep your engine bay cleaner than the rest of your car. ( i said your a lot didnt i?)
I plan on shaving it and polishing it soon though...

there's some pretty rice polished chrome valve covers on ebay right now. i myself would rather have a dark blue one just because i'm going with a blue color scheme thing... right now it's red and it looks pretty good imo.

most people with red cars would want red, most with black would want black.... this is kind of a pointless poll. obviously if your car is green you dont want a blue valve cover.. its pretty much based on your car color, or black/chrome goes with anything

hey what the hell, heres some pics I used when deciding.

I call these the "nuetral" colors.....work regardless the car color

I went with a "chrome"/silver powdercoat. I Really like a clean black one too w/ polished letters.

-- 1st one "chrome/silver" (what I got except w/ polished letters)

-- 2nd one is Black

-- Last one is charcoal/gumetal.
