This is the first time I posted some pix of my ride. I'm fairly new to the forum, but for the short time I've spent here, I've learned much and met some really great and helpful people. So she's a 97 GST with 98K on her. I added some projectors a month or so ago let me know what you think.

Thanks guys, I try. It does have its share of "battle scars" after all its black, and black shows everything.

Very nice car! Everything looks good together and great paint. Change out the exhaust and you're straight! :thumb:

Smoked headlights?

hm.

No they're not smoked. It must be the glare or angle I shot it from. They are clear lenses with black housings, purchased of ebay. They have an ion blue low beam lens with the angel eye in blue around that.

nice, I just got projectors also, but they aren't nearly as bright as the stock lights.

tails look good :thumb:

Aye...tails look good with your car. Carbon altezzas look good on red and black eclipses only. A+ on the whole package!

now get some OEM tails

I still have the OEM tails, but there is just something about the carbon fiber tails I like better. Not so much that they're different because they're not, I think because of the circular lights do it for me. I had to ditch the center piece, that annoyed me and I think it cheapend the whole look. So I took the advice of many and painted the original OEM to match the car, but I still kept the eclipse lettering, although I know most ditched that as well. I guess to each their own.

That's why I went with them. Circular lights...I like them on skylines, rx7s, and supras. If you're car doesn't blend with the black housing or red lights though, they clash with the car. Some other guy around here had taillights covers that left red circles from the stock lights -- those looked good prob because his car was black.

I agreee the color of the car matters when it comes to certain styles.

Thats the only color that i can stand of altezzas .. carbon fiber on black paint .. with NO middle section! Good work .. you're one of the only DSM's with altezzas with brains! LOL nice taste .. like your style

Luke  :dsm:

im on right now in he middle of the night, i'll take photos for you tomorow and post a walkthrough for you :thumb:

I love how people are with their altezza bashings. Here is my opinion. You like them, keep em. I'm willing to bet that when you decide one day to put the stock one's back on, you'll be like "WHOA! That looks so much better!" Its sad that you look more custom when you don't put aftermarket tails on your car. Every car on the road has em now... I did my share of "ricing" my car out, but I grew out of it. I'm not bashin on your car in any way, it looks really good. You should get a set of drop springs. Get rid of some of the wheel gap :)

allrighty, here we go. :) First picture is just a view from behind with the adjustment knobs circled. there is 4 in each corner. they have a long screw attached and a spring on that screw to push back against the knob. turn the knobs one way to tighten and move the corner and the other way to loosen it and move it the opposite way. once u turn the knobs you'll see how they move. i aimed mine pointed at a garage door, it had nice lines for reference for me to use, a brick wall also works. have a friend pull up and point the lights at the wall and see what level you should be at, mark it on the wall with some chalk or something or memorize the spot. you will also need to adjust the center spot, you can pretty much cross the beams with these. a long ruler or a tape measure will work fine for that. just make sure theyre both not pointed right or left, dont want to shine them diagonally. find the center and adjust so both lights make a bright spot the same distance from it, but u knew that. here's the first pic
