i just got done with this car last week..............i know it aint a dsm but just let me know what you guys think. i did all the body work/fab, and painted it

pics of car

you have to look close though, everything is molded in, the tailights, rear bumper, widebody stuff, side skirts, gas door. and the door molding is shaved along with the antenna and the roof gutters.

the work that is done to it right now is as far as its goin with me ownin it. i bought it to fix it up and sell it. so yes, somepeople have aasked it is forsale, but i didnt post that at first cuz most of you guys dont care for hondas.

just make sure to not make it into a ricer. Theres nothing worse then a ricer civic!

It looks nice i like the blue, and it seems to be all show and no go with sohc non-vtec motor, but hey isnt that what most honduhs have to offer us DSMers?

nah i didnt really do anything to the motor, it has intake, manifold bakc 1 peice exhaust, 1 3/4" lowerin springs, and front and rear camber kit. like i said though i dotn want to put anymore money into it, i have ahd for like 3 monthes, and it took about that long to get the all the fiberglassing done, thsi car was so beat up when i got it. it was missing abunch of interior stuff, no gauge sluster, centerconsole, shift linkage was broke, no exhaust, bearing in 2 of the wheels was so bad when i went to take them off, they just fell out. it was missing motor mounts, the brakes were screwed. ane the rims that were on it were bent and had chunks missing on them.

so i figure this is enough i have put into it, who ever buys it can mod the engine, or swap it.

yeah, thats another reason why i wouldnt keep it, i like the way it turned out when i got doen with the outside, but its slow, and i already have my talon to dump that kind of money into. this was just a easy way to make some money.

the molded/ painted tails are a subtle, yet effective touch. :thumb: Nice work. Glad to see the engine bay matched up. :thumb: Never done enough on "complete" color changes.

thanks man, i feel the same way about complete color changes. thats why i took the time to paint everything, under the hood, the door jams and under teh hatch and jam, even underneath the door panels and the panels in the back.

Nice car. Add a sweet sound system and it'd be a pretty nice cruising car I think. Always loved that color.

How much are your trying to sell that baby for? It looks really nice with all your work into it. The paint and glassing looks killer. Do you work in a bodyshop or something?

i am asking $6500 or best offer. its a 98 clean title and everything.

but no i do this stuff at home. i used to have my own import shop, and did alot of this stuff.

thanks for the compliment man

Nice job! I think it would have been cool if you glassed over the hatch where the plate goes and put the plate in the window, then it would look super smooth. It would also be nice if you had cut out the "teeth" in the front bumper. I wish I had your skills, then I could make tons of money LOL

ive got a 92 eagle talon n/a auto new paint, sunroof, cd player/speakers needs manifold and im about to put a fuel pump into it.....trade for honda? haha thats a long shot but if u put some cool stuff on it i bet someone would love to have it for a lot

Very nice! just dont sell it to someone who thinks it is fast. :p
Just wondering a few things:

how much are you selling it for? (just curious)

Where did you learn to do bodywork?

Did you paint it yourself?

Where did you learn to paint?
TIA! :thumb:
