Have A Few Questions On My Talon Please Everyone Chime In!

I want to do something to my 95 talon tail lights but not really sure what to do. Someone please post some pics on mods to the tails or ideas on what to do. Also I am going to get the 97-99 eclipse front end and wondering how that looks with the 95-96 talon sides and rear? does it clash or look just fine? please help thanks.

I would just go for the 99 eclipse rear while your at it. Check out the pics of my car, it started out as an awd talon, and I converted it to an eclipse, but left the sideskirts. I shaved over the parts that said AWD and TURBO and I think it flows alot better than the eclipse ones, so i left'em. See for yourself, but I think they add to the beautiful lines of the car.

yeh that looks awesome but dont have the funds for the rear right now so the talon rear should/will have to do for now . how easy is it to mount the stock 97 eclipse fogs?

I've thought about using nightshades just on the amber parts. I would try to photoshop it but 1 I suck at shit like that and 2 I don't have photoshop. I think though with the amber darkened out it might look pretty decent.

err donno bout the niteshades but at the DSMCA meet a talon had red tent over the tails to mak it all red kinda liked it but want to know what the center piece looks like color mated to the car...heres a pic...if anyone can color match that do it.

As for the rear, ive seen peopel paint the center to match, the all red look, all black look

Just be creative and think of somehting cool.

on a white car, IMO i would stay away from night shades.. but the red tint looks very clean.

I did my amber on the tail lights, Now they are all red. On a white car, I think it looks great. Anyways, Alls you need is a can of that annodized paint, In the color red of course, Just scuff your tails with a scotch pad and paint them. You cannot tell they were painted!!

yeah the nite shades wouldnt look right on my white. but where can I get that special paint to do all red tails at? whats it called? im interested in doing it. also what yall think about the center piece painted like the car see this photochopped pic to get an idea.

My Friend has a 95 Talon with the 99 Eclipse front end, the car flows very well with the low spoiler and the back end. IMO you should keep the Talon sideskirts, they look better

As long as you have the black plastic part that screws into the front bumper, its simple. Rather than spending big bucks trying to find OEM fog lights, I just got round projector fogs and they stuck right in the plastic surround perfectly.

OEM fogs willcost you an arm and a leg, even if you get them used or from a wholesaler. I'd just go with a set of Hella or Pilot rounds or something like that.

I'm not exactly sure what the red stuff is called, but i know you can get it at just about any hobby shop. I've also heard that if you take regular red paint, and thin it out with mineral spirits that will also work just the same.

You can get the paint at autozone i believe? It will have a chrome red cap on it, It is made by dupli-color. It's called annodized red!

That paint is for giving metal or plastic an annodized look. Its not translucent.
