can anyone tell me what kind of bodykit and spoiler this is?
i never seen it before im thinking the guy made a custom bodykit or fit a bodykit from another car onto this 1G dsm...

The guy who designed and built that kit passed away. Out of respect for him, the kit hasn't been reproduced. I think he took an early Evo bumper and chopped the top off and then took the top half of an eclipse bumper and molded them together.

All I know is that kit was on Manuel Go's car, I think Dan Paramore (sp?) Racing did most of the work on it. Awesome car, wonder where it wound up at....anyway.

It was the stock Eclipse top half bumper, and an EVO !V lower bumper. The rear wing was a customized 3 piece 3000GT stock wing.

That car was featured in SCC in 97 or 98, I know I have the magazine, but for the life of me I can't find it.

BTW that guy is pretty smart and creative i know i wouldn't ever think of fitting a 3000GT wing on a eclipse or a Evo bumper on a eclipse.

I was wondering about that probably like two months ago. I thought about it after playing the PS 1's GT2. The front bumper off of an Evo IV would look tight if it fit.

We are pretty sure it is a 3000GT spoiler worked to fit. And it is a factory top half eclipse bumper, with a EVO 4 bottom half.

That's not an EVO 4 bottom bumper. I don't know where you guys are getting the idea it is....

It's just some foglight housings molded into the stock 92-94 bumper. You can get the foglight housings at rally shops 'round the country, and go nuts with fiberglass work to smooth it out. Cut out the stock two supports and mold the lights in.

Kit looks nice on the eclipse. I also dont dig the big fog lights however.. :thumbdown

Although they do look better on the evo, much better. I guess they fit the look of that car better.

it looks like the stcok bumper with the middle part removed, and then the fog lights added with casing...because the "vents" on the side of the fog lights are rounded, like the stock

That wasnt quite what I had in mind. The bumper Im thinking of is on the lancer evo in grand turismo 2. I cant remeber the exact designation off the top of my head. But that does look really cool.
