My stock ones kept falling out of the socket, and instead of being like everyone else and doing clear markers, i wanted a bit more "stealth" appeal. and this is what i ended up with. what do you think?

1st: i bought the clear markers off of ebay. then i sanded down the clear covers on them, so the paint would stick. then i used some lacyuer hobbie-shop transparent black paint. up real close, they are kinda ugly.(like inches close) but from far aaway, they look badass! thanks for the compliment

i did that 2 weeks ago, i used niteshades and they look great. i'm getting ready to do the taillights and reverse lights.

i got bored with my clears so i did this..

its funny, people jump all over the "roof scoops on a 1G" thread saying "o i hate it because its non-funcional"

:|

Tell me how that adds performance
(BTW they look good)

Well it adds about 5 ricepower, and raises the BLING appeal, from what i here:rolleyes: Not everything you add to your car will add horsepower. And this is more functional than the stock ones i used to have, because the stock ones had broken clips and kept falling off of the car. so i had to get new ones, and i like how these look better than regular clear ones. remember, i did post this in the "Non-performance" category for a reason.:thumb: Thanks though

could u take a pic of them when there lit? i don't own a 2nd gen, but would like to see what there like when the bulb flashes on em'.

I think you misunderstood, thats the point i was trying to make. Most people in the other thread all said bad things and when people asked why they said because its served no real purpose. But yet if its something like this that is "tasteful" to them, then its not rice???? when did this happen?

But this horse is dead, and beating it won't help me any except to get rage out:thumb:

I plan on doing it to mine, but you said you did it to your clear, and i was thinking about doing it to my amber ones.... now i think i should do it the same way you did to my all black car.
