is it possible to convert from 1ga to 1gb

i have a 90 gsx and i was wondering if it was possible to put a 92-94 front end on. and if so how much fabricating is involved

You need from the 92:
Headlights
Sidemarker lights
Hood
Fenders
Front bumper cover
A paint job unless your lucky and find the same color parts

Just get a freakin parts car! I got one for $75, since it was non turbo, 2wd, automatic that doesnt run. Im having someone strip off all the panels and I am getting it repainted it too.

Have fun getting it painted cheap though. And take into account that you cant change the engine bay and other chassis parts's colors, unless you go through VERY extensive work to get them painted too.

I understand what parts are needed.... I need to know if it is a direct bolt on swap or if there is fabricating involved. What needs to be done to make everything fit properly?

Once all the skin is off, the mounting points for the fenders are different, there's a fair bit of wrestling with the radiator support and such in order to do the swap from popups to real headlights. Keep in mind that when the factory did it, they started fairly much from scratch, with new pieces shaped and built new ways.
