Help modiying rear and front lights

Hey
i am going for a red/black theme on my eclipse, i am interested in painting the headlights black either inside or outside(smoked look)

My headlight(driver) get's foggy tought so i think i'll have to sand them and clean them good before if i go with the outside

Well my question is:
Is there any instructions on how to paint the headlights?
What to use?
Why not?
Stories?
Pictures?

What about the rear?

1st why paint the headights black? now ive seen people paine something inside the ehadlights various colors, but not the reflectors.

chrome polish will clear up them head lights. also check the tech articles
