2g 6x9 infinity kappa instal question

Hay just wondering how you get these to fit cause i am haveing big problems please explain in detail. And I know its ben done before.

Speakers 6x9 infinity kappa 693.5i 3 ways. The web site said it would fit, whats going on?

if its the 693.5i model then no it wont fit perfectly. i have that model and all i did was mounted it like you would normally to the basket then unscrewed the bottom and side bolt enough (think like one or two threds left) so the magnet would get the clearance it needed. then i trimmed the backside of the interior panel so that the cone or the surround wouldnt hit anything because it will be really tight back there and those freakin speakers are expensive. i didnt worry about the gaps because it is completly sealed back there anyways.it looks a tad bit rigged but it works. thats what i did and havent had any problems.. or just use a thick enough trim ring
