That should be a link to the viper alarms home page. I think they are the best alarms out there. THey do have a series with the keypad that has the LCD screen. THey also get awesome range.

My friend has one on his wrangler (he has a big system in it) and even if he has his top off and doors open, if you reach inside of the car, the alarm will go off and alert him.,, best buy for the money i think.

How much? I know the clifford alarms go for around 375. Same features as the viper and a pretty proven alarm. You can get it w/ remote start for 450 i believe. Maybe a comparison will help him out.

Viper and Clifford are virtually identical. They are both owned by DEI, and I think the only notable differences were the number of relay outputs available (i.e. the lines had different total number of outputs available). Get whatever you find for the best price.

I should clarify that I'm referring to the current product lines... previously Clifford was a seperate company with completely different models.

Don't be fooled by the 2 way paging system. Yes it is great, but it doesnt always work especially when your at a supermarket that has those automatic doors. For some reason, the signal cant get through.

I've tried a lot of different alarms Viper, Audiovox, Black Widow, etc.

I didn't try clifford, but if they are the same as Viper they probably wont work all the time either.

I go to work in an office building, no problem. I run in to a wal mart, the damn thing could not recieve signal.

Just my 2 cents

LOL starting your car next to some kids trying to mess with it = priceless
