been haivng fun installing gauges... (dash is all ripped out !!)

well started working on my gauge install today... installing a mech oil pressure and water temp a/f and a voltage gauge... (dad made me a nice stainless steel plate as you can see in the pics)

also if anybody wants to know what there dash looks like w/ it all ripped apart check it out.

also modified my air vents. cut out the middle one and covered it up with tape since the gauges are going there anyways ! (all the air vents are comming out after winter to so no biggy)

Hmm... from what came up in searches, I was under the imrpession that all you have to do is run the wires from underneath (radio area). None of the posts mentioned taking the dash apart like that.
 
im installing a mechanical oil pressure gauge.. im running a -4 SS line from the air vent gauge mount to under the hood. and the easiest way is to just drill a hole where i did. right to the right of the bit vent opening (looks like an orange light) thats the hole for the line to run through.
