Okay, to make a long story short, someone backed into the front of my car. Now my front bumper is badly dented/broken and hanging half down. I was planning to get a new bumper for my car (which is a 1997 RS) and was wondering if they make urethane front bumper. And where is the best place to look for buying one? I found brand new ones for about 230. Also, how much would you guys think it would cost to paint the bumper the factory black color? I just want to fix this as fast as possible because it is under my insurance's $1000 deductible. What I am most confused about is how much the painting of it will cost. If anyone can just throw up some numbers on a good paint job that will last, I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you in advance.

I have a Front bumper I'll sell you for $150.00

If Its black... I will even paint it for you. :) (extra of course)
I have a Quart of PPG Mitsubishi Black. (The Paint supplys alone cost me around $90.00) Thats just for the paint and reducer.

i've got a 96 talon TSi AWD front bumper that is black. i'll sell it for 50. if you can find a mitsu logo in a junkyard you can rig it in no prob.

Thanks for the offers and all, but I've decided on going for a new unpainted front bumper from MitsubishiParts.cc. They have a pretty good deal, about 240 shipped. Anyways, I called around to some of my local body shops, and they gave me estimates of about 150-400 for painting the bumper alone (off of the car). Does that sound like a reasonable price? I got prices ranging from 140-170. Is that too low? And how much should I expect to pay? Thanks for the help guys, I just want to get my car back on the road.

I wouldn't pay more than $150 to get a bumper painted. Don't go to those over priced body shops just because they look nice. I would go only by price and take a look at the other cars they have around the shop to see the kind of work they do.

Okay, so 150 sounds pretty good? So much just for paint! When the people threw up those 300-400 dollar numbers i was thinking to myself "You gotta be kidding me". All I wanted was to paint it the factory black. By the way, how much did you pay to get your front bumper painted Mitsu_Racing?
