Has anyone tried fitting 20" rims on their 2Gs, if we can fit 19"s on it I bet we can fit 20" What do yall think? And don't tell me it will slow us down, cus that sound system will slow you down to

Hell yeah that shit would slow you down! And it will slow u down 10 times as much as a system would. Think about it, one of those rims probably weighs as much as 2 W7's. Besides why would u want to put those on a dsm anyway? They are race cars more or less, not an impala. Man i hate seeing people with those freakin spinners cuz when u think about it in about a year they arent going to spin as easy when rocks and shit get into the bearing....besides i think 18s are the highest u can go on a 2g. I could be wrong but i know 20's wont fit, like i said its not an impala

I am all in favor of people who think that 20" wheels might be right for a DSM putting them on. After all, the slower that they are going, the less damage they will do.

yuo'd better look into a brake upgrade after adding like 50lbs to each wheel. imagine the extra rotational forces that puts on the stock braking system. your car will stop like shit, have fun.

hmm, after the subj of this post made me think, does anyone have the type of wheels that dont spin? i want kinda a oscillation type o deal.

that chjicks hot, wtf is she putting in her mouth?

Looks like a Yogurt bottle... not really our kind of yogurt, but more of a milky drink. It's an Asian thing (though I haven't seen them in Japan, but maybe I just didn't notice, hehe). I pretty much grew up on them being half-korean, hehe.

Yeah, it sure is. Honestly though, I dig spinners, but not on a DSM, unless you're going for the whole lowrider/metal flake paint thing. Otherwise, it's just horrible looking on a standard car. BTW guys, this chick is pretty hot too. I think she drives a honda:

Seriously though, I dig the sleeper look.

But if you're going to put spinners on your car, power to you. To each his own. I would go all out before putting spinners on though, like an air ride suspension kit, full body kit, some bad paint like metal flake or chameleon or whatever. You know...the whole lowrider thing. If you plan on racing, like they said. No go on the spinners.

and paint your car

Yeah, but those aren't the real ones are they? They actually don't look too bad.... but um. still a no go for me. I was just thinking to myself that this whole "bling bling" thing is going to far. It's bad enough some people put 20" Mirror Shine chrome "dubs" on their DSM's, but I think the spinners are going a bit too far. What are we going to have next? Spinner diamond encrusted steering wheels? "Look, I stopped turning left, but my steering wheel is still turning left!" Maybe some LV leather seats? The DSM's aren't luxury cars, nor are they big body cars, so it kind of looks out of place. Especially since the real spinners cost more than our cars do.

 bling bling on zoom zoom makes baby jesus cry

Also, you spend how much on your rims when you could have painted your car? It's like getting a nose job after your doctor tells you your apendix is about to explode. "Gee, i really need a paint job... my car looks really bad in two different colors... but f*ck it, I'll just get spinners, so I could look cool cruisin in primer"

this is really gettin out of hand.
now we got people who should obviously spend the money to get the rest of their car painted instead of tryin to put something on their car that dosen't belong

I know what spinners are really for! What you do is,right before you race, get out of your car and spin them all as fast of you can. What this does is increases the momentum of your wheels before even moving! It's the same performance increase as adding a turbo kit!
