I dont like how I aint seeing a hitch on that ol school vette, did they pardon some cars from towing their own trailers or were they just there to make a non-competition lap?

I looked on this courses website, full course is almost 4 miles. Is there any inclines on it? Looks all flat ground to me, which kinda sucks. Also, sis you notice the membership fee? 25,000$ starting fee plus 3k a year, yowzers!

The corvette owner is a club member. He was just there flogging his car around the track for the day. The OLOA cars were on the south track while the members had the north track.

The track is pretty damn flat thats for sure. There are slight elevation changes but nothing big at all.

Yes the initial entry fee is rather steep and they just filled all 200 of the member spots so people are already waiting in line to pay the 25k.

All I ahve to say, is whoever is driving that contraption sponsored by organic racing... brave brave souls. could be interesting driving that down the highway while it's raining.

Yeah I was BSing with the guy that was driving that WCM Ultralite. He didnt seem to care at all about weather conditions and from what I saw he did not have a top for it.

Ill post a few more pics of that silver 360 with the slicks later tonight. There was a red one crusing around also but once again I am confident in the fact that it was hiding from me. Maybe my buddy got a few shots of it. Ill find out tonight.

I didnt snap any pics of the M coupes. They looked like ford escorts next to most of the other cars. I never saw the M5. My buddy took a ton of pics also but I cant seem to get ahold of him to steal them.

The cars definitley werent putzing around after their last round. They were packing up and bolting out of there like crazy. Like I said before, Ill have more pics when I contact my friend. Ill also dig through mine a little more and see what I can find.

Here is a journal from John K (AMSs driver) of the OLOA thus far for anyone that might be interested.

I was in the same run group with that gold 850hp Vette about a month ago at Road America. My Archer car was faster around the track than the Vette. If any of you are familiar with Road America....he would pass me at the beginning of the front straight (going up the hill) and have about half a straight on me by corner one. By corner two I was on his tail again. Eventually I'd pass him after corner five and stay ahead for the rest of the track.

The car was ungodly fast in a straight line but slow in the corners. It was an awesome machine - lots of custom fabrication.

I mean wouldnt making a TT be some what of a handful to drive and just eat up tires? I mean look at the lemans viper im just taking a geuss that its making even more power than it.

Seems like its going to over power the tires and hurt it in the long run, whats with the show car qauilty of some of the cars? I like how AMS stuck to this is a race so lets build a car fit to race not add a custom air brush paint job that cost 20,000 dollers//

I was hoping that I could steal a bunch of pictures from my buddies camera and post them but apparently hes a newb. When he got off of the plane he was messing with his camera and accidentally deleted all his pictures. Jet lag FTW.

Next time I am at the Autobahn Ill try and hunt that 360 down for ya. If I am lucky I might be able to spy the Enzo that lurks around there.

I just love Road America. Ive been up there for ALMS, the VSCDA, Champ Cars, The Ferrari Challenge, and soon to be, the AMA superbikes. I think I am going to register for Speedseekers october event there. I need to make sure I can clear my schedule.

Make no mistake about that viper, it belongs on the track. Nifty paint jobs are just an added bonus for people with truckloads of money.

I think I am going to head to the Tire Rack for the last OLOA event. Ill snap a few more pictures and some video If I end up going.

Mav if you read this, are you going to attend?
