I just recently purchased a turbo manifold for a 420a along with a turbo setup out of a 98 gsx. I was wondering if anybody had a detailed set of instuctions or can tell in detail how to turn the 420a into a turbo. like where to run the oil line and how to run the intercooler pipes and other stuff

thanx

I dont have a 2nd gen anymore but the 2nd gen non turbo comes with a 420a engine and the turbo comes with the 4g63t engine, their two completely different engines and there is no way you can use the stock manifold from the turbo and put it on the 420a, your best bet if you want to turbo your car is to just save up for the hahn or star turbo kits.

oh wait, u said you purchased a manifold for the 420a, i guess if it will work with the engine you might be able to do it, but i dont know if it is the best set up....hope it works out i think you should still go with the aftermarket kit.

i agree, i think its better to just go with a turbo kit that is already put together for a 420a. after all of the parts that you will have to buy to get the turbo it will probably be cheaper with just buying a star or hrc kit......good luck with the instal though and let us know how it goes and andy problems you had doing it:thumb:
